In the weekend Team SunRacing was at Kõrvemaa equestrian endurance event and at Põlva motocross Korvikunnid Cup.
Kõrvemaa
Race had really high level horses and riders. Most of them was testing their horses before Lithuania international FEI event at late of september. So was we. Race went really well and horse felt quite good. Now we can prepare for the Lithuania event.
Põlva
The last leg of the Korvikunnid Cup was held in Põlva. We were down four points from the first place and holding the second place strongly. Thus winning both heats we would have been able to win the cup. Sadly during the training we had problems with 3rd gear which was dropping to 2nd gear all the time. Also steering damper was getting stuck which didn't make our driving any easier. After qualifying we was second just 0.3 seconds behind the first. First heat start was not so good and we had to pass many competitors and lost some valuable time. We was not able to catch the first team and finished 2nd. Sadly that meant that without bad luck to another team we could not anymore win the cup. Second heat we had better start and was 2nd from the start. We followed the first team closely but was not able to push for the pass. Also second heat we finished 2nd and that was it for the Korvikunnid Cup. Nevertheless good overall season for Korvikunnid Cup and total 2nd place is not easy one to get. We are quite happy of our first season success and hope to get the first place at the next season 2015!
